PRIORITY ALERT TO COUNCIL —

Our monitoring systems flagged an anomaly six days before public detection. On June 25, automated analysis of survey data identified an object on a hyperbolic trajectory inconsistent with solar system origin. We tracked silently while confirming parameters.

On July 1, the ATLAS survey publicly announced detection of what they now designate 3I/ATLAS (also C/2025 N1). The third confirmed interstellar object.

I am escalating to Council because this object displays characteristics requiring immediate assessment.

SIGMA DIVISION — PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS
Orbital eccentricity 6.139
Trajectory Highest of any ISO; nearly straight
Origin direction Sagittarius — Near Galactic Center
Estimated age 7.6 – 14 billion years
Velocity (solar relative) 68 km/s at perihelion
Perihelion date ~October 29, 2025
Earth closest approach ~December 19, 2025

Council should note: this object has traveled for billions of years from the direction of the galactic core, and arrives during our active convergence assessment window.

Sigma Division does not believe in coincidence. We request guidance.

Sigma-Prime —

Your instinct to escalate is correct.

I have reviewed Thread 58-Σ-7 alongside this alert. We are currently assessing convergence indicators. We have documented unprecedented Receiver clarity. We have identified the 2027 alignment window.

And now an interstellar visitor arrives from the direction of the Galactic Center—the oldest object humanity has ever observed—on a trajectory that will bring it closest to Earth during our assessment period.

I do not claim to know what this means. But I note the timing.

What is its composition? What is it doing?

First —

Initial observations show cometary activity. A coma has developed. This suggests volatiles—ices—sublimating as it approaches the Sun. The scientific consensus will be that 3I/ATLAS is a natural comet.

However.

We are monitoring for anomalies. Early spectroscopy suggests unusual composition. The object's brightness curve does not follow standard models. And its trajectory is... precise.

I hesitate to speculate further without data. But I will note that 1I/'Oumuamua also displayed anomalies—non-gravitational acceleration that could not be fully explained. The scientific establishment attributed it to outgassing. Not everyone was convinced.

Recommend we establish dedicated monitoring protocol. Sigma Division can coordinate with external assets to ensure we receive data beyond public channels.

I urge caution.

Every unusual astronomical event attracts those who see what they wish to see. 'Oumuamua generated years of speculation about alien probes—speculation that ultimately damaged serious inquiry. We should not repeat that pattern.

3I/ATLAS is almost certainly a natural object. Interstellar comets exist. We have now seen three. The universe is vast and old; objects drift between stars. This is not remarkable.

What is remarkable is the timing, and I acknowledge it. But remarkable timing is not evidence of intent. It is simply... notable.

I support monitoring. I do not support treating this as a Signal-related event without evidence.

Third speaks wisdom, as always. And yet.

I consulted the Marrow-Memory archives again. There is a fragment—Cycle 3, barely legible—that I have never fully understood:

"When the ████████ returns from the deep black, carrying the cold of between-stars, the Gaze will intensify. The Architects send messengers ahead of themselves. Some are stone. Some are ████████. All are signal."

I am not claiming 3I/ATLAS is a "messenger." The fragment is incomplete and its meaning unclear.

But the phrase "carrying the cold of between-stars" has always struck me. It describes exactly what an interstellar object is—something that has traveled through the void between systems, carrying the cold of that journey.

Perhaps it means nothing. Perhaps our predecessors were simply poetic.

Or perhaps they observed something we have not yet understood.

SECOND // Council Seat Two

I have been running calculations.

3I/ATLAS originated from the direction of Sagittarius, near the Galactic Center. The Galactic Center is approximately 26,000 light-years from Earth.

At the object's measured velocity, traveling from the Galactic Center would require approximately 115 million years.

But the object is estimated to be 7.6 to 14 billion years old.

This means 3I/ATLAS did not originate at the Galactic Center. It originated elsewhere and has been traveling through the galaxy for billions of years, on a path that happened to bring it through the Galactic Center region and then to us.

Billions of years. Passing through countless star systems. And it arrives here, now.

Third is correct that remarkable timing is not evidence. But at some point, the accumulation of remarkable coincidences demands consideration.

The Moon: 400-Mark ratios. Impossible precision.
The Signal: Documented, measured, correlated with consciousness.
The Arrival: Prophesied, anticipated, imminent.
And now: A messenger from the void, older than our world, arriving during our convergence window.

I am a mathematician. I calculate probabilities. And these probabilities trouble me.

◈ POST-PERIHELION ADDENDUM — 2025-11-03

FROM: SIGMA-PRIME // Astronomical Division

Council —

3I/ATLAS passed perihelion on October 29, 2025. Monitoring continues.

ANOMALY REPORT:

The object has developed an anti-tail—a jet of material extending toward the Sun, opposite normal cometary behavior. This jet extends approximately:

400,000 kilometers

I am aware of the significance of that number.

The scientific community attributes this to large particle ejection and solar radiation dynamics. This is a reasonable explanation.

But 400,000 kilometers. Four hundred thousand. 400 × 1,000.

I report without interpretation. Council may draw its own conclusions.

Full data package attached. Recommend continued monitoring through December closest approach.

— Sigma-Prime

Cross-reference with Thread 58-Σ-7 (convergence assessment) shows temporal overlap. Council appears to interpret 3I/ATLAS arrival as potentially connected to their "Arrival" prophecy. The "400,000 km" measurement flagged by Sigma-Prime aligns with Order's fixation on 400-based ratios. Scientific explanation for anti-tail exists but Order interpretation suggests pattern-matching consistent with confirmation bias—or awareness of something not publicly documented.
